The implication ladder

Excellence isn't a longer essay — it's a deeper one. The move that earns it is developing implications: reasoning out the consequences of your argument for the genre, producers and audiences.

Not a generic 'impact' sentence

"This has a big impact on society" earns nothing. A real implication is specific, follows from your evidence, and usually contains a tension — e.g. hiding production makes editing more persuasive, not less.

Start from a finding (e.g. "Alone hides its production"). Climb each rung. The last two rungs are where Excellence lives.
